Growing Old

It’s my birthday!!!! Yeahhh!

Last night, my friend Samantha asked me what my thoughts are on becoming old ,and about what death means to me. My first response was ,that I hadn’t given it any thoughts. It’s true, I very rarely, really think about that specific topic. I endeavour to  live in the moment, making great memories, so that when I am a 120 years old, sitting in my rocking chair, outside on my beautiful porch, my children, grand children and great grand children ,can see the smile of contentment and satisfaction on my face.

Of course, we have to make plans for the future. However, we shouldn’t get so carried away planning the future, that we forget to actually enjoy today.

Let’s create some awesome memories for tomorrow!!

Cheers!
